Lannan Symposium 2018: We’re In This Thing Together

Co-sponsored by the Georgetown University Department of Theater, Department of African American Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies Program, Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service, The Lecture Fund, LGBTQ Resource Center, Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics, Culture and Politics, and Gender+ Justice Initiative.

This year, the Georgetown Gender+ Justice Initiative is working with the Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice to showcase speakers who are working in and on the collective to sustain creative work in times of great political precarity.

Over this two-day event, speakers will discuss the current state of affairs in collective organizing and creative endeavors.
