One of the signature events of the Georgetown Gender+ Justice Initiative are our fall colloquia, these are opportunities to bring together faculty from across Georgetown’s three DC campuses to showcase their research on gender justice.
The 2019 G+JI Colloquium was held on October 25, with cross-campus panels on Gender+ Justice in and through Education, Public Health Gender+ Justice – Activism and Policy Impact, and Navigating Intersectional Identities – Space, Race and Politics
The 2018 G+JI Colloquium was held on November 9, with cross-campus panels on #MeToo and Women in the Workplace, Intersectionality: Gender+, and Access to Health & Justice.
The 2017 G+JI Colloquium was held on October 13, with cross-campus panels on Intersectional Gender Justice, the Racialized and Gendered Body, and Change Agents and the Possibility of Remaking the Future.
The 2016 G+JI Colloquium was held on September 23, with cross-campus panels on What Difference does Sex Difference Make?, Gender-Based Violence: Local & Global. and Intersectional Gender Justice.
