Why the Gender+ Justice Initiative?

The Gender⁺ Justice Initiative (G⁺JI) supports and enhances research and advocacy on intersectional approaches to gender justice across Georgetown’s departments and campuses. G⁺JI supports scholarship, advocacy, and knowledge production, and is a vibrant hub for community engagement and policy development. G⁺JI invites Main, Law, and Medical campus faculty and students to engage in interdisciplinary conversations and to collaborate on issues of gender, antiracism, feminism, intersectionality, inequity, and inequality.
