Such a Time As This Series: Intersectionality, Women Acting-Up

The Intersectionality, Women Acting-Up discussion is part of the Such A Time As This: Racial Justice series at Georgetown. This series of conversations will explore how Georgetown faculty’s research advances racial justice. The sessions will consider how racial justice produces certain responsibilities for researchers. We will also examine how the pursuit of justice informs the impact of the speakers’ work. We will not only focus on the  work of individual faculty members but also how the mission of Georgetown University informs and supports this work. This discussion is moderated by Denise Brennan, Professor and Chair of Anthropology, Georgetown University.

These conversations are scheduled from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM on Wednesdays throughout September and October 2020, starting on Wednesday, September 30 and concluding on Wednesday, October 28.
