Alice Kukapa is responsible for programmatic coordination, administrative tasks, finance operations, and communications for the Gender+ Justice Initiative. A recent graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Global Business with a certificate in African Studies. Born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Alice is deeply passionate about her Congolese identity and is committed to improving the lives of Congolese in the diaspora. In the future, she aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in Africana Studies and continue her efforts in advancing educational equity, environmental justice, and liberation for all Africans. Outside of work, Alice enjoys traveling, thrifting, listening to Congolese Rumba, and drinking brown sugar boba.
