Nicole Irakoze (she/her)

Nicole Umuhire Irakoze is a junior at Georgetown University in Qatar majoring in International Economics, with minors in French and Philosophy. She is interested in consulting and strategy, particularly in how business and economic systems can be designed to create more inclusive and sustainable outcomes. Originally from Rwanda, Nicole’s interests are deeply shaped by community-based work at the intersection of gender justice, economic empowerment, and social impact, particularly with women in marginalized contexts. Her experience includes working on women’s economic empowerment initiatives in Rwanda and co-founding Smartel, a social-impact startup integrating sustainable agriculture and technology to address gendered economic and environmental inequalities.
