Lauren is a M.A. Arab Studies student at Georgetown’s Center for Contemporary Arab Studies. In her academic and professional work, she focuses on oral history, digital storytelling, climate justice, and intersectional gender studies within the Middle East and North Africa and beyond. Lauren is an award-winning videographer and editor and brings her expertise in storytelling, communications, and event coordination to G+JI’s programming.
In her free time, Lauren loves walking around DC, discovering new music, making documentaries, and experimenting in the kitchen.
