Alyssia is a senior at Georgetown University where they are majoring in Sociology with a double minor in Black Studies and Tech, Ethics, and Society. They began working for the Gender Justice Initiative during the summer of 2024. They bring a wealth of experience in community organizing, public advocacy, and technological expertise. Passionate about social justice and equity, Alyssia is dedicated to supporting and advocating for underrepresented communities, especially Black and queer folk, and aspires to become a civil rights lawyer. In their free time, Alyssia loves to cook, make jewelry, read, and go for walks around the city.
