Quill Kukla

Quill Kukla's research interests include social epistemology (including the epistemology and methodology of medical research and of geography and cartography), philosophy of science, philosophy of language, feminist philosophy, metaethics, reproductive ethics and the culture of pregnancy and motherhood, and research ethics. Much of theor research bridges ethics, epistemology, and philosophy of language. They received her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto in 1990 and her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996. From 2003-2005, They were a Greenwall Fellow in Bioethics and Health Policy at The Johns Hopkins University. They also received their Sommelier certification from Algonquin College in 2007. They are the Editor-in-Chief of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal and the former editor of Public Affairs Quarterly.
